My 190° field of view custom build camera capturing the the weather, stars, time lapses and star trails over South Yorkshire, UK. It even captures the occasional star 💖 ✨🌟
SkyCam
This is now the second all sky camera – as I tweak and refine the build, using a 190° lens and IMX378 sensor, running from a Raspberry Pi 4B. The first unit used a ASI 224MC camera and Raspberry Pi 3+.
Once the kinks are all ironed out I will also include further star trails, meteors, time lapses and other interesting captures, together with a guide on setting up your own.
Please take a look at my beginner’s astronomy guides, and come and say hi on my profile.
