“Snow Moon” on 27 February 2021, taken over Barnsley in the UK.
This particular full-moon, each February, is named after the snowfall that’s common in the northern hemisphere at this time of year.
It’s also referred to as the ‘Full Hunger Moon’ in North America. Originated due to the snow causing difficulties for Native American hunters.1000 frames captured and stacked.
This image is a stacked, enhanced image taken from 1000 individual frames captured with the Canon EOS 6D camera through the Celestron Astromaster 130EQ telescope on 27 February 2021.
